JEE Main 2024 Registration: How to Apply
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE MAIN 2024). Students aspiring to appear for the engineering entrance exam must submit their application forms on the official websites, jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in.
The last date for submitting application forms for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 is November 30, 2023. After this, the NTA will release a city information slip, allowing candidates to find details about their exam centers and cities. Three days prior to the exam, the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in will issue admit cards.
JEE Main 2024: Examination in 13 Languages
In addition to announcing the registration date for JEE Main 2024, the NTA has revealed that JEE Main results will be declared on February 12, 2024. Similar to the previous year, the examination will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
JEE Main 2024 Admission in These Institutions
Candidates who successfully clear the examination will be eligible for admission to institutions like NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs), state government-funded or recognized universities. This exam also serves as a qualifying examination for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Candidates have the option to appear for JEE Main 2023 Session 1, Session 2, or both. If they participate in both sessions, the highest score will be considered for the final result. They won’t need to reapply for Session 2. Such candidates can make additional payments and change their exam centers during the Session 2 window. However, those appearing for only one session must complete the entire registration process.
