The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare has introduced Face Authentication technology, allowing pensioners to submit their Digital Life Certificates effortlessly. Here’s how:
Download the Required Apps:
Ensure you have the latest ‘Aadhaar Face RD (Early Access) Application’ and the ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ app on your Android smartphone.
Provide Personal Information:
Enter your Aadhaar (UID) number, mobile number, email ID, and other necessary details within the Jeevan Pramaan app.
OTP Verification:
You will receive a one-time password (OTP) on both your mobile number and email ID. Use it to verify your identity.
Face Scan:
The app will prompt you for a face scan, granting permission as needed to complete the process.

Submission of Digital Life Certificate (DLC) via India Post Payments Bank (IPPB):
In collaboration with the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and Meity, the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare offers the “Doorstep Service for Submission of Digital Life Certificate by Postman.” Pensioners can use this service by downloading the “Postinfo APP” from the Google Play store.
Submission of Life Certificate through Doorstep Banking Public Sector Banks (PSB):
Alliance provides “Doorstep Banking” services in 100 major cities across India. This includes life certificate collection, which can be scheduled through a mobile app, website, or toll-free number.
Submission of Life Certificate Signed by Designated Official:
Pensioners have the option to submit a life certificate signed by a “designated official,” eliminating the need for personal appearance, as per Paragraph 14.3 of the CPAO-issued Scheme Booklet.
