The pop sensation kindly asked fans not to throw objects at her while she performs during her Sunday stop on her Eras Tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The "Cruel Summer" singer, 33, reportedly took a moment to address the matter after a fan threw a gift onto the stage at Estadio River Plate, as seen in social media footage that fans had taken.
“And just because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries — it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage,” Swift remarked as she played the piano during her career-spanning set's Evermore section.
“Because if it's on the stage then a dancer can trip on it,” she said in a calm, thoughtful tone, expressing her concern. "I love that you brought presents, and that is so nice, but just can you please not throw them on the stage?”
Swift is just one of many celebrities who have voiced their concerns about the dangerous trend of concertgoers tossing objects at performing artists while they are on stage.
Over the past few months, artists like Adele, Charlie Puth, and Billie Eilish have all made remarks akin to this to their fans.
Several performers expressed their worries after a number of incidents: Several objects struck Harry Styles while he was on his Love on Tour.
A bracelet struck Kelsea Ballerini in the eye, and Bebe Rexha was seriously hurt when a male attendee threw a cell phone at her, resulting in his arrest.
